Having shown Mummy how much better I’m feeling, she agreed to leave our stair gate open today so we can go and relax in the sun in our bedroom. It’s the first time she’s let us up there during the day since my operation – and it felt lovely to curl up on our beds with the sun shining on our backs. And I was very good in return and didn’t play on the stairs or keep running up and down them.
