Mummy took us to see the nice vet today to have some funny solution squirted up our noses – we weren’t expecting that. We asked our Cavie brothers why they didn’t warn us about that, but they said they’d never had it done before. When we asked Mummy she said it was a vaccine for Kennel Cough, which she’d wanted us to have as:
- Cousin Sparky has been sneezing a bit recently, and although his vet doesn’t think it’s Kennel Cough he’s being treated for it just in case and
- we do love kissing every dog we meet, so there’s more chance of us catching this infection if we’ve not been vaccinated.
As our Cavie brothers have never been in kennels, and aren’t as friendly as us, there’s been no need for them to have it in the past.
We were also weighed – despite us all eating more food than we should for our weights, we’d actually lost weight. The nice vet said that’s because we are so fit and healthy – we really like our vet…. Anyway, here are our latest weights (previous weights from Jan in brackets):
Hal – 17.6kg (18.3kg)
Zen – 16.6kg (16.8kg)
Shandy – 9.35kg (10.25kg)
Casey – 8.75kg (9.35kg)
