The ground and bushes have gone all white! Mummy says it’s something called snow.
We didn’t want to go out in the snow last night – we were all warm and dry, and there was Mummy asking us to go outside and get all cold and wet. And not only was the snow on the ground but it was also blowing around everywhere in the air and getting into our eyes. In the end Mummy had to carry us outside so we would do the necessary before bed.
But this morning, boy has it been fun – the snow is no longer in the air, and it’s all soft under foot. Mummy had to shut us in our cages for a while this morning as we refused to stay inside for more than 5 minutes. It’s great fun running around in the snow, and it’s so easy to dig in it compared with normal mud.
Mummy tried to measure the depth of the snow – well, we wanted to stop her as she was spoiling our fun! – it is between 5 and 7 inches across the garden.

We have snow here,too. I don’t like it, which mumma can’t understand ~ she tells me that back home in MY country they have deep, deep snow & very, very cold for 6 months ~ that’s over 1/2 my life. I’m glad I’m an IRISH Russian Prince & mumma has a fire & a sofa for me! The other dogs seem to love it & they don’t have long fluffy hair like me.
