Fleas and Knots

Having given us the worming treatment a few days ago, Mummy decided it was time to do the same for any little fleas that might decide to try and take up residence on us.  We did try to tell Mummy that it’s far too cold for any fleas to be out at this time of year, but she said it’s good practice to put flea prevention drops on us all year round.  We didn’t like the drops on our shoulders (the solution was rather cold and wet), but we did get a treat afterwards which more than made up for it.

And then this evening Mummy has been giving me a groom to stop any knots from forming.  She tends to pick on us one per night and as I hadn’t been done for a while I guess it was my turn to be placed in some rather undignified positions and have my lovely coat combed.  And then my nails got a trim as well – I hope that’s me done now for a week at least.  I think it may be Shandy’s turn next, as Casey and Zen were done more recently.  I don’t understand those Cavies – they don’t seem to object to having their coats combed, but it just doesn’t seem natural to me.

Now, can we persuade Mummy to go to bed early again so we can have a little time curled up on her bed with her?  She let us spend about 30 mins up there yesterday evening before she made us settle down on our own bed.

I’ve hidden ALL the flea combs mumma has ~ I don’t mind the double brush, but *I* can comb my fur beautifully myself & I do. I agree it IS far too cold for those nasty bitey wiggy things.

Mumma was telling a friend (the 1 with the beautiful girly) about cooking worms for the chickens ~ are those the worms your mummy was talking about? It’s very confusing ~ maybe your mumma should get some chickens to feed your worms to
