Well, it’s lovely to have my brother back – I was so worried about him yesterday – but don’t understand why Mummy is keeping him locked in a cage and I can’t play with him. I did try to have a play fight earlier, but Mummy was not at all happy. Where has my playmate gone?
Mummy took the three of us out for a walk this evening (the two Cavies and me), and as we left Zen was crying. As we passed the house on the way back, we could hear him still crying – and that was hearing him from the road outside the house – so he must have been doing it for the whole hour that we were out. And we got back to find that he’d knocked over his water bowl, despite it being bolted to the edge of the cage.
Mummy wanted to keep him out of the cage for a cuddle, but he kept just trying to wind me up and get me to fight with him. Why can’t he just settle down with all of us rather than winding me up? Something tells me this is going to be a long 6 weeks….
Hi Hal,
It’s good to hear you are trying to be a good boy for your Mummy and try not to join in with Zen when he wants to play as you might hurt him and that would be risky for him. Give Zen licks and kisses through his crate and lie down to sleep next to it and this will comfort him.
Lots of Hugs & Kisses xxxxxxxxx
I’m trying….
