Mummy took Zen and me to a leisure show today. Our Cavie brothers didn’t come with us – Mummy said that was because they’re not so good round loads of human legs, tending to get squashed and trampled on, but we think it was because they are not as well behaved as us. So, our Cavie brothers stayed with Sparky and Gizzy at Grandma’s, whilst we accompanied Mummy, Grandma and Grandpa to the leisure show.
Loads of people made a fuss of us, and said how beautiful and well behaved we were. And we tried really really hard not to jump at anyone (well, anyone other than Mummy), despite all those faces looking at us. We even had a few children cuddling us, and we took it all in our stride.
As a treat for being so good, Mummy took us swimming in a lake afterwards – well, Mummy didn’t go swimming, or even paddling, but she let us enjoy ourselves. We think Mummy really took us there so that we could clean ourselves in the water, as it was really muddy at the show – but anyway, we enjoyed it.

Mumma took us for a walk along the Forestry Road & I (& the other dogs) explored in new Foresty bits. Mumma was hoping to find out where it came out, but we didn’t reach the end before mumma wanted to turn back because she said the light was going. Going where? I did cry a few times when I forgot about my leg & leapt up very high banks. I’m tired now ~ mumma said that we were out for 2 hours. The PiriPups are still going madly, playing bitry-nosey-facey, but they don’t have sore legs
